A global social experiment

What are we building?
A world made of millions of individual lights.
Our goal is to fill the world with millions of lights — one person, one place, one word at a time.
Each light represents a real person who chose to leave one word in a shared global story.
Alone, one light is small. Together, they become a picture of what humanity chose to leave behind.
The experiment only becomes meaningful if the world takes part.6Founders

The Experiment
One small act may seem insignificant.
But repeated by thousands, millions or perhaps more, it becomes something entirely different.
The Hope Experiment exists to discover where that collective act can lead.
This is only the beginning.Built on transparency
The rules are clear. The destination is still unfolding.
Contributions, operating principles and the future evolution of the Experiment will be explained openly and kept accessible.
How the Experiment worksYour place in the Experiment
Leave your light in the story.
Somewhere in the world, another light will be next.
